DigiType Typing Services uses the highly recommended Olympus AS-5000 transcription system and can accept the following file formats:
.DS2, .DSS, .WAV, .WMA and .MP3 (encrypted files)
These file formats can be uploaded through the DigiType website and completed documents are returned to clients via SendThisFile.
FOR ACCURATE DICTATION, please speak clearly into the recording equipment, preferably without background noise.
It is essential for full details to be provided if you wish for these to appear in your completed document and especially for the spelling of certain names to be clarified, e.g. Jane or Jayne, Geoffrey or Jeffrey, Rachel or Rachael, etc.
It would also be helpful for the phonetic alphabet, i.e. C for Charlie, T for Tango, to be used for similar sounding recorded letters, e.g. B/D in an address.
All DigiType require to carry out all your typing requirements are copies of your Company templates (both blank and completed examples) to enable continuity of typing style relative to your business.
